EOS 5D with 35mm f/1.4 L Lens. I used a neutral grey graduated filter with the camera mounted on a tripod. Well worth all the effort. Processing done in Apple Aperture. Actually, hardly any processing done except white balance adjustment. What you see is what I saw and I will say without hesitation that this is probably the best picture of mother nature I have taken so far.
The biggest learnings I got from this image is how an graduated filter can really enhance a high contrast scene like this one. I do not think I would have been able to capture details from both the sky and the sea without using the filter.
