I went on a zoo outing a few months ago to try my hand at ‘wildlife’ photography (ok- call it tamelife photography). The difficult thing I found when taking pictures at the zoo was that the background is not interesting enough (too concrete) so I had to be really creative. I took several pictures of the head, neck and full body of some giraffes but they came out boring. This one was the last shot I took and it was the best. One need not show the whole body to show what it is. The best things about giraffes are the prints on the body.
